I received this as a christmas present. It isn't making coffee but leaking all over the worktop. The drip tray is empty.

Great Machine
A great machine and also looks the part in the kitchen. Very happy with our Ninja Cafe Luxe pro. We’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and so far are very satisfied with the results. Setup was straightforward. Makes great coffee, although the beans do make a big difference. From research I found its best to buy freshly roasted dark beans and avoid supermarket beans. We were able to get a great tasting coffee with our first brand of local beans, then tried a different brand and it came out a bit weak, so would need to alter settings slightly. Will also pickup the knock box and some dedicated glasses. Chose the 701 model due to the integrated tamp lever, which was definitely the right decision. Looking forward to trying the extra thick frosh setting soon.

Both, you can auto froth by selecting a froth style with the dial, choosing Dairy or Plant Based, then pressing Start Froth. You can also manually froth by placing the wand in the jug and holding Start Froth for 3 seconds to start steam, keep the tip just below the surface to stretch then lower to heat, press Start Froth again to stop.

To begin dispensing hot water on this unit, press START BREW and press START BREW again to stop dispensing when you have the desired amount of hot water, or you can wait for the program to finish (the program will dispense 200 ml of hot water if not stopped).
The DESCALE indicator will light up when the machine needs to undergo a descaling process. If the descaling is not carried out after the light turns on, drink quality will diminish, and the machine may clog and stop working, as it is essential for breaking down and eliminating limescale and mineral deposits inside the machine. For best results, we recommend using the Descale Powder provided in the box and available on the NinjaKitchen.co.uk website. Alternatively, you may use a solution of 500 ml of vinegar mixed with 650 ml of water. To properly conduct a descaling cycle, follow the guidelines available in the link below.
