Excellent bit of kit
Bought this because our business broadband went down. Our server controls almost 3000 devices remotely and that stopped. Were connected to the network within a minute andhad everything up and running using this dongle in around 30 minutes, we had settings to change in the server.

Terrible choice!
Rubbish. Super slow, not stable, cannot even use for a Teams meeting/video call! Hugely expensive for no reason at all! Very disappointed!

Useless item ,,avoid at all costs
I bought this as i was staying at a house with no internet signal ,and it is COMPLETELY USELESS!!! Only connects to a sever for about 5 minutes then drops completely!! Tried several times to reconnect all to no avail. same result every time ,,connects for a couple of minutes then nothing !! A waste of £40 pounds and i am NOT happy!!

Great. Bought this to work from home after I moved house and didn’t have wifi straight away. Easy to set up and use, connected straight away, no issues. Used for three full working days now and still going strong.

Portable dongle for full internet access
I bought this as moved into a property with no internet. This dongle is allowing me to connect to work as I work from home. The signal is brilliant, with no speed issues and keeping me connected to the internet for my full working days. This will also be useful when away from home in the caravan due to its portability. Vodafone 30GB Data Dongle - 90 Days
I brought this about a month ago as I am in the process of upgrading my broadband service resulting in migration issues. This data dongle has enabled me to have a mobile broadband service and the software has proved to be compatible with older operating systems. I have never had any issues with using this dongle and I have managed to do most of what I needed to do using the internet. The dongle provides seamless connectivity and is used very much like a USB stick - you simply plug the dongle into a USB slot on your computer. It is also a pay-as-you-go dongle for 90 days and at the end of that time period, you contact the service provider and simply top up.

The supplier has advised that the Vodafone 30GB Data Dongle - 90 Days if the customer was to use the device abroad with a local sim, they would need to unlock the device via ourselves (Vodafone) after purchasing the device, alternatively they could look to purchase a Global Roaming SIM plan.

The Vodafone 30GB Data Dongle connects via USB to a laptop or PC and comes with preinstalled software to access Vodafone’s 4G network. It is not designed for direct use on tablets or iPads.

Vodafone 30GB Data Dongle - 90 Days: Providing the TV is a Smart TV and accepts the connection type, then yes, this would work.
I can’t guarantee it for every TV of course due to different TV’s having different ports on the rear; but providing it can be plugged in, it’ll work.

"Based on what we've observed, unfortunately, this device can't be plugged directly into a TV for connectivity. However, there's a workaround: if the customer plugs the device into their laptop, and if their laptop supports hotspot functionality, they can use the laptop to create a hotspot network. The TV can then connect to the internet through that hotspot."
