Do not recommend at all
Absolutely useless. Doesn’t work. And when you try to return it, the lovely Argos team recommends me to go to Vodafone and when I go to Vodafone they kindly ask me to return it to Argos. You can’t check the SIM pin, cause they don’t provide you with it. You can’t check how much data left, cause they didn’t give you a SIM number or phone number associated with it and you can’t set up a my Vodafone account. An absolute waste of my money

Useful when our broadband went down
We lost broadband at home when a digger cut through the cable in the road. I ordered this dongle from Argos and collected it the next day. We plugged it into our router and after a short while our WiFi was up again. Vodafone is the strongest mobile signal around us, in other places EE might be better so check that out. We were quite careful with our data usage, in particular turning off automatic update on all of our apps which seems to use a lot of it. When we were told the outage would last for 10 days we bought another 120Gb sim to extend the life. Easy and effective!
