I have tried a number of knife sharpeners & this is the easiest to use. Like the way it uses suction to give a stable feel while sharpening. It does the job & at a great price!

Easy and safer to use than a handheld sharpener
Works well, the suction cup is good on a marble worktop or a glass cutting board but comes unstuck on a normal kitchen worktop, so it needs to be on a smooth surface. It is easy to use because it is easily fixed to the worksurface, there is an arrow (which is a little difficult to see) showing which way to pull the knife though. Would recommend.

Great value knife sharpener
Our aging kitchen knife collection was getting ever more blunt, so I consulted Which reviews and found this Anysharp as a best buy recommendation. The best thing about it is the vacuum clamped base, which fixes it firmly to the worktop allowing 2 hands to be safely used for guiding the knife being sharpened. Time will tell how long it remains effective at actually sharpening knife blades, but early results are very promising.

Brilliant knife sharpener
Bought this to sharpen my extremely blunt kitchen knives since the steel we had did not do the job. It is brilliant. It secures very tightly to the kitchen work surface. A few strokes and my knives have been brought back to life. You can see the filings on the surface. I would advise ear plugs as inevitably it makes a screeching noise. I should have bought it ages ago.
