Poor mahine which makes clothes smell fusty
Samsung do not provide adequate facilities to maintain and clean the heat exchange unit which results in a damp fusty smell coming from the machine making this unusable. My advice is to avoid this machine at all costs.

WiFi and AI is all good but.....
The technical features of the modern machines are very good but, compared to our previous machine everything takes forever to dry. Yes, I know, it's a heat pump dryer so it's really 'more efficient' but when you have laundry on most days, the extra drying time (roughly twice as long as a vented dryer) does not feel like step forward. However, the most annoying 'feature' is that the machine does not have a reverse tumble built in to the program which means that with something like a large duvet cover, you get a wet balled up lump of cloth at the end of the drying cycle. Very annoying.

No reverse tumble
Really disappointed with this tumble dryer. I specifically wanted a dryer with a bed linen programme so that my bed linen would dry properly and not get tangled. The so called bedding programme on this dryer does not have a reverse tumble so everything ends up in a ball and doesn’t dry evenly. This has been an expensive mistake.

I can advise that the Samsung DV90T6240LB/S1 heat pump tumble dryer can be plugged in and used immediately without any plumbing needed. It is a freestanding model that collects water in an internal reservoir.
