This will be the second Samsung washing machine we have brought the first one lasted nearly 9 years and to be fair it was only the rubber seal that had failed so we probably could've got another two or three years out of it but decided to upgrade to a bigger version with this 11 kg version , what I like about it. It looks good. The colour looks sleek the control panel is very minimalistic , It's very quiet when washing you hardly know it's on. , It is a bit more complicated than the last one. There are more washing options to choose from but to be honest. 90% Of what we use it for is a daily wash on cotton which takes about an hour and 20 minutes. , What I don't like about is that after so many washes you have to do a drum wash , it's not an option it virtually forces you to do it. You can download the app , but to be fair, I can't see the point of controlling a washing machine with your tablet when you're standing in front of it 90% of the time. it's a fantastic washing machine. I would highly recommend it. Just take the bit of getting used to as technology has come on a lot since our last purchase nine years ago of a washing machine , once you have mastered it and understood all the programs and what they do you won't be disappointed. .

AI and wi-fi is all good, but.....

I am guessing that this machine is one of the modern 'eco' range as it barely puts in enough water to get the clothes wet. This sometimes has the result that the detergent pods do not dissolve completely. The clothes do not wash in a pool of water at the bottom of the machine as the previous one did. The rinse cycle seems to be the same issue. On the plus side the machine is very quiet and the spin cycle is quiet and well balanced.

Upgraded as our old one lasted years

Bought this as our old washer stopped working. We bought the updated version of our old one as it was a great machine and hardly gave us any problems. Easy to order, chose a delivery date and given a text the evening before with a 2 hour time slot and then a call from the delivery driver just before the delivery itself. All in all, really pleased with both the product and the service given by Argos. Thank you.
