Good Doorbell But ......
This is a good doorbell at a very reasonable price. The range is excellent and there is a wide selection of volume settings and tunes for the chimes. The pushbutton is mounted on a small plastic backplate which has to be removed every two years or so to replace the battery. That is when a small problem can occur. We have found that the backplate goes hard and brittle over time and the lugs on it become ineffective and snap. The only solution then is to replace the whole doorbell. However, the price is so good that it still represents value for money even if its life is somewhat limited. It is also worth noting a related error on the Argos page for this product which suggests "completing your purchase" by buying a pack of 6 Duracell Plus Alkaline "C" batteries. This doorbell does not require "C" batteries. The chimes unit plugs into the mains and the push button needs just one CR2032 button cell that is supplied in the box.

Life changing
Before this “door bell” contraption arrived in our lives we were forever missing callers, who despite their incessant hammering at our door failed to make themselves heard. Now, hearing visitors is child’s play, allowing us time to hide behind the sofa if it is someone we dislike. The only downside is our dog, who has already learned to ring the bell and run away, the scamp.

Does what it says on the tin.
We bought this to replace our existing door bell which had played up over the years. It was easy to install and does what it says on the tin. However, since we installed it no one has come to the door.

This is a 3 pin plug, it's classed as wall mounted as the pusher needs to be mounted outside and the chime is technically wall mounted to the socket.

The manual also shows you can use a sticky tape included to fix the doorbell to a surface. Other answers here mention sticky tape too.

No there is tape that comes with it I use a 3m sticky pad hope this helps

If screwing the door push to the wall, the rubber parts go in between the screws and the back plate. This is to protect the back plate from the screws.

The doorbell is fitted externally and the chime is plugged in internally. The chime unit works by distance it is positioned internally from the doorbell.
It has a 150m range in an open field so this can be impacted by a stone wall or heavy wooden door.
