Great router
i bought this to replace a failed router . Now i live in an old victorian house where signals cant travel far, with this router i now have done away with the repeater as the signal is now very strong compared with the old one. it is early days but hopeful this router will last a long time. price was very good and within the hour pickup from argos was great.

Waiting for new stock
Unfortunately the router had been previously used and not repackaged well. I decided not to buy it as I don't know what the previous purchaser had done with it. The assistant said he would order a new one and text me when it arrived. I think he forgot. Sadly, the website doesn't say how many are in stock at a particular location, so if I go back, I might be offered the used one. I will drop in next time I'm visiting Sainsbury's, but won't make a special effort.

The Archer AX12 is a pure Wi-Fi router. It does not have a built-in VDSL or fibre modem. It connects to the internet via its yellow Internet (WAN) Ethernet port.
You will connect the Archer AX12’s WAN port to the Ethernet port on the equipment OneStream provides (either the ONT or their router).

Yes, the router will work with a Virgin Media Hub 5, but not as a direct replacement. You need to run the Hub 5 in Modem Mode, then connect the TP‑Link router to it.
