I have owned two dual power pro over the years which I thought were absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, the bushbar stopped spinning and is not cleaning as well anymore. I have to drag it manually making it very hard work and time consuming. I decided I would treat myself to this new one having seen all the great reviews. However, I must say I am very disapppointed. The suction is fantastic so that's a plus, but there's only one set of spinning brushes and I think the bristles are too soft and do not scrub very well. With my dual pro when it was new, the carpets looked like new after a wash. This one hardly made a difference and I feel I will have to scrub all the marks by hand before using it to get a decent result. It is also very heavy but not having to refill the water tank every 5 minutes is good though carrying all that water makes it even heavier. I haven't tried the hand brush yet but I will eventually.

Very good, have used it to clean what appeared to be clean carpets in my daughters new house. The amount if dirt it got out was amazing. Very pleased with it.

Very easy to assemble and amazing product it has a heating element so it dries the carpet as you use it, it suck up almost all the water from the carpet so the carpet dries very quickly

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Vax SpinScrub Power Plus Corded Carpet Cleaner.
As with any carpet, we would always recommend that you refer to your carpet manufacturer who will advise if the material is suitable for cleaning and if so which treatment is best. Alternatively, you could try the solution out on a small area of the carpet in question to trial it.
