About this product
The Vax SpinScrub Power Plus is a proper deep carpet cleaner that gets right into the pile and lifts out the dirt you can't see. It's designed with rotating SpinScrub bristles that work into carpet fibres while pulling out moisture, so your carpets are dry in about an hour. The clean and dirty water tanks are big enough to tackle a whole home without constantly stopping to refill or empty. It's not just for floors either, the SpinScrub hand tool makes light work of upholstery, stairs and pet beds.
The hand tool has automatic rotating bristles, so you're not having to scrub back and forth manually. It sucks up spills as well as cleaning, which is handy for accidents or muddy paw prints. The power cord gives you plenty of reach, and the hose means you can get to furniture and stairs without dragging the whole machine around. At around 9kg it's sturdy rather than lightweight, but there's a carry handle to shift it between rooms. It comes with the SpinScrub hand tool, a wash tool, a hose, and antibacterial solution to get you started. Works on carpets, stairs and upholstery.

Brush unit
Used it once took brush unit out and can’t get it to click back in and it’s wobbly. Did anyone else have this problem

Very impressed with this Vax cleaner. Easy to follow instructions and easy to assemble. The Vax cleaner is quite heavy and a bit noisy(due to the motor)however, it is good and well worth it. I put the setting on to' Deep Clean' and it cleaned my rug very well and quite quickly .The rug dried in a short space of time.A note to Argos:, please provide a trolley for the delivery guy's as this Vax cleaner is too heavy for one person bringing it up flights of stairs in a flat. Overall would definitely recommend.

As with any carpet, we would always recommend that you refer to your carpet manufacturer who will advise if the material is suitable for cleaning and if so which treatment is best. Alternatively, you could try the solution out on a small area of the carpet in question to trial it.
