Bought to replace a 10 yrs old model. This one is easier to use. Cleans carpets well and is easy to clean the tanks, spin brushes etc. I do use ear defenders as the powerful suction motor is quite loud.

The supplier has advised the following for the Vax SpinScrub Power Corded Carpet Cleaner:
"I can confirm the spin scrub brushes are rotated by a motor which is inside the floorhead of the machine.
You have a row of brushes that connect to the base of the machine which connects to the floorhead, the spindle that rotates the brushes are connected to a belt which rotates the spindle."

The supplier has advised the following for the Vax SpinScrub Power Corded Carpet Cleaner:
"You can apply these products to mattresses, but please ensure the treated area is completely dry for at least 24 hours before using the mattress, similar to carpets or upholstery."
They add this following detail too:
"I would advise to do a small test on any materials including a mattress to ensure the product is suitable for use."
