Really handy machine,
I tried this during the hot weather, I have a very thick carpet in my lounge but it dried within two hours,I have yet to try it on the stairs,the only negative is the accessory for the stairs is just a row of bristles, some models have a spinning brush which cleans better, I would be nice if I could leave the machine at the foot of the stairs,it will be a two woman job,one holding the machine, one using the cleaning end

Cleans carpets well
Purchased 2 weeks ago, used once to clean a bedroom carpet, cleans well and leaves carpet nearly dry and not soaking wet. Easy to use and easy to assemble. Unfortunately the power on/off switch developed a fault and the machine has had to go back for repair. Vax were very helpful in getting my machine taken away for repair, i’m just disappointed that it went faulty after one use.

Better than the old model
I bought this to replace an older model that no longer sqirted shampoo. It works just as well as the old one but the fixtures and fittings are much easier to use. Very versatile but have not used it much yet but from the little use so far it seems really good. Im impressed with the 6 years warranty too

"I can confirm the spin scrub brushes are rotated by a motor which is inside the floorhead of the machine.
You have a row of brushes that connect to the base of the machine which connects to the floorhead, the spindle that rotates the brushes are connected to a belt which rotates the spindle."
