A bit thirsty for carpet cleaning solution.
We at first decided to try cleaning the stairs as these were particularly grubby however were a bit underwhelmed by the performance of the machine we managed to get about 4 steps looking "a little bit better" than the yet to be done steps. This resulted in the entirety of the carpet cleaning solution being used before I realised, probably trying in vain to get any remaining dirt out using only water.... The machine is particularly noisy and has only a single switch for both vacuuming and water pump. It is also quite fiddly to empty the dirty water requiring the suction hose to be disconnected each time in order to slide the tank out. Shortly after cleaning the upstairs carpets I forgot about the fact the carpet might be wet and was walking in socks, however I hadn't realised as it was just about dry. Possibly the best feature of the machine being the exhausted air from the motor is blown down into the carpet leaving it immediately quite warm and soon dries afterwards... I don't think this machine could compete with a typical two tank rental machine although for less than the price of 2 rentals have a machine we can use for next few years assuming we can remortgage in order to afford the carpet cleaning solution it uses.

"I can confirm the spin scrub brushes are rotated by a motor which is inside the floorhead of the machine.
You have a row of brushes that connect to the base of the machine which connects to the floorhead, the spindle that rotates the brushes are connected to a belt which rotates the spindle."
