Very disappointing!
Too big to try and balance on the staircase so unable to clean stair carpet with the hose.Tried to clean stair carpet on the bottom step which about 800 x 800 with the hose attachment. It looks dirtier than before I cleaned it and my soft pile is now "crispy" to the touch. Attempted to clean a hall runner with the machine itself. Very difficult as you cannot tell how much water/solution you are putting down, consequently one end of the runner is wet through and the other end is dry!. I am now very reluctant to even attempt to clean my carpeted rooms - at this stage I think I have wasted my money purchasing this Vax

I bought this a few weeks ago became lhave two cats and two dogs and constantly have accidents from them this carpet shampoo and hard floors cleaner is the best one I have ever had. It is a bit heavy but ease to use

I bought this VAX for an existing carpet cleaner which was over 7 years old. I like the additional functionality including the separate cleaning fluid. I was also hoping that new design 4 spin scrubbers would proved a better clean. I was not disappointed - did a great job on the carpets. Very pleased.

"I can confirm the spin scrub brushes are rotated by a motor which is inside the floorhead of the machine.
You have a row of brushes that connect to the base of the machine which connects to the floorhead, the spindle that rotates the brushes are connected to a belt which rotates the spindle."
