Not good enough on some rugs
Seems a good quality vacuum cleaner but it would not work on some of my rugs so I had to return it. The smart system that was supposed to adjust to the correct power depending on the floor covering wasn’t smart enough and there was no manual adjustment of the power except to provide more! Never had a cleaner before with this problem and the one bought to replace this one is fine too so there seems to be a design issue. Getting through to Miele’s help line was difficult as well, considering they class themselves as a premium brand. I would have expected better

It has an alright runtime but it's heavy so it's difficult to manouvre. The suction is subpar without the standard floor attachment which makes it a little less versatile. It's nicely designed visually but the function is a little lacking. Good as an additional vacuum not a main one. It's VERY loud

Just the job!
I just love this machine. It's easy to use and filtration is excellent. Suction is strong and adjusts to the floor you are cleaning. I've vacuumed the downstairs and stairs of my house 3 times and and haven't had to recharge the battery. It's a very robust machine and will probably be the one we'll need to many years to come. The only downside is it is a little heavy but not a problem for me! Very happy and even my young daughter enjoys using it!

Powerful and easy to empty
I bought this to replace a Bosch cordless which was incredibly difficult to empty. This is more powerful, adapts to floor surfaces and is really easy to empty. Very pleased so far...

Does what it is supposed to and does it well.
The device itself is elegant and easy to use and works even better than our previous bagless canister vacuum. The only wonky bit is the wall mount and recharging. It really should be a simple and solid clock in place not fiddle around with a separate cord and awkward plug in port location.

Best thing since sliced bread
This vacuum is great . Powerful suction, lightweight, lots of very useful tools for all the different jobs. I have had stick vacuums before and I was not impressed with them . But this one I absolutely recommend.

Having checked I can see this does not have any anti hair wrap feature but on checking the manual I can see it is easy to keep the brush head clean. You may wish to check customer reviews to see how other customers find the vacuum performance.

Apologies for any confusion caused but the Miele DuoFlex HX1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner should initially be charged for 4 hours to ensure it is fully charged. It is recommended to allow the battery to run down completely before recharging it. In this way, you will benefit from the battery’s full capacity.

I havent yet put the wall mount up and it stands perfectly fine in the corner of my living room! Were Due to move soon so Ill probably mount it then but it isnt really essential as its pretty balanced to be fair!
