Absolutely brilliant
a bit heavy but really effective at removing pet hairs from carpet

Battery runs out in 10min. Collection bin small
I purchased this less than 30 days ago, and I already regret it. The battery drains in just 10 minutes and takes hours to recharge. My previous Dyson vacuum was much lighter, more powerful, and had a far longer-lasting battery. The collection bin is very small and needs to be emptied very often.

IN LOVE! BETTER THAN A DYSON
I purchased this vacuum because I have two British Shorthair cats that shed quite a bit. Their fur is reminiscent of wool. To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations for this vacuum since I’ve previously used both the Henry and Dyson brands, which I find overhyped. However, the Miele vacuum has truly impressed me with its powerful suction, and I can visibly see the difference after each use. As someone with disabilities, I appreciate how easy it is to operate, and it's not too heavy either. The filter is quite advanced, capturing absolutely every crumb. While it is on the pricier side, I believe it is well worth the investment and surpasses any competing brands. I genuinely look forward to vacuuming because of this device.

Fantastic power
I have had this vac about a month and the suction is great It does last quite a while as i don't need to use the full power on it The long hairs get tangled around the brush but its easy to clear It felt a bit heavy up to my other battery one Now i have used it i am fully satisfied with it The emptying is a bit odd as you have to take the pipe off before you can empty

Small but Mighty
If I had to sum up the Miele DuoFlex HX1 Cat & Dog Cordless Vacuum cleaner in three words, they would be small but mighty. I love my dog but hate her hair so keeping our home clean and free of pet hair was a daily struggle before I got this machine. It has powerful suction and it cleverly detects the type of floor it's working on and alters the suction. the floor head is motorised so it really goes to town on carpets. It gets up all the dust and grime and most importantly leaves great "vacuum lines" in the carpet because did you really clean if there are no lines? For a long time I wrongly assumed that cordless vacuums weren't very powerful, and I dragged my old upright up and down the stairs daily. I've lost count of the amount of times I've tried to balance the vacuum cleaner on the stairs, become caught in the wire and almost met my maker! I'm so pleased I have this now because it's just so light and easy to use - no more precariously balancing the old vacuum on the stairs! Because it's so light and powerful, I can whizz it round my whole house in less than ten minutes. The battery lasts for ages, so you'd be fine even if your house was as big as Buckingham Palace! This vacuum also comes with a myriad of useful attachments: I especially like the brush for removing the hard-to-reach cobwebs that appear on the ceiling overnight. The only negative is that I find it a little noisy, but that's a small price to pay for its overall fantastic performance.

A fantastic cordless vacuum cleaner!
Overall this is a great vacuum cleaner, it is not too heavy and very manoeuvrable compared to a normal corded vacuum cleaner due to most of the weight being at the top rather than it all resting on the floor. It has several handy attachments for the various jobs that you might need to tackle. The suction is excellent too, though maybe not quite as good as my corded vacuum. Despite that, It still does a very good job of picking up fur out of the carpet and all the usual muck too, especially on the turbo mode when it's needed. The storage is a little small so you'll probably make a few more trips to the bin compared to a corded vacuum too. The battery life has been great so far too, I haven't run out of battery during use yet though admittedly, I don't tend to vacuum the whole house all at once. A couple of features that are especially nice are the automatic surface detection, which works well and saves the hassle of changing settings when moving between a rug and a hard floor for example, and the comfort clean filter which doesn't require any washing, just a few twists and a brush down when it comes to it. The process for hanging the vacuum on the wall if very simple and I used the vacuum to catch and dust from the drilling too which made a nice and tidy job. The fine dust from this as well as some sanding mess hasn't had any noticeable impact on the suction either, which is great to see. It is nice and easy to get the vacuum off and onto the wall hanger which is nice, but I was a little surprised that there wasn't anywhere to clip the charging cable to so it just dangles freely and needs tucking away when not in use. I think this is a great vacuum and although I will keep our corded vacuum for any bigger jobs, this will certainly be the go to for day to day tasks and certainly for vacuuming the stairs!
