This wireless doorbell with 150m range lets you answer the door from anywhere in your home. The plug-through design fits any standard UK socket and keeps your power points free. It's completely wire-free so installation takes minutes with the included fixings. Choose from 16 melodies to personalise your alert. The weatherproof push button stands up to British weather. You can adjust the volume to suit your preference.
Byron DBY-22313 Plug-Thru Doorbell comes with a CR2032 battery so you're ready to go straight away. The chime unit works seamlessly with other Byron DBY products for versatile home alerts. There's no complicated wiring or drilling through walls. Just fix the push button where you need it and plug in the chime. Perfect for homes where traditional wired doorbells aren't practical.

Bought this for my mother-in-law. Bell push sticks onto door frame and bell sound plugs in. Because it is a plug through, you don't lose a socket. Bell nice and loud.

Does what it says on the tin
Only had a couple of weeks but appears to do "what it says on the tin". Easy to fire up first time - simply removed the tabs from the bell itself. The mains powered chime alleviates the requirement for batteries being replied - a problem with my previous bell

Good simple unit that doesn’t clog a socket.
Bought to replace a previous model which started to eat batteries. Plug sockets are not plentiful in this house so this device is a perfect solution. It also doesn’t stick out too far either something else plugged in so isn’t a trip hazard. Door unit was easy to fit with the provided sticker. Default ring is irritating and too loud, but there is an alternative which is less grating. Lots of other choices but most people won’t want “happy birthday” or a Christmas tune so in practice only one ring. Does the job.

The self-adhesive pad may not be strong enough on rough or porous surfaces like concrete or stone, especially in outdoor conditions where moisture or temperature changes can weaken the bond.
For a more secure and long-lasting hold on those surfaces, it’s recommended to use the screw fixings provided.

Having checked the instructions. There is a button on the side of the plug, the volume can be changed and muted.
