I bought this a few weeks ago and it was very easy to install. The bell push can either be screwed to the door frame or stuck on with the adhesive patch provided. Just plug the bell unit unto a socket and that's it. The socket on the bell unit still allows thewall socket to be used for another appliance.

Kind of 'does what it says'. The volume range is better than previous doorbells I've bought with the lowest volume being acceptable when previously it's been too loud. Being about to still use the plug is a bonus as well as I've had to unplug the bell anytime I've been hoovering or using the plug for something else.

Having checked the instructions. There is a button on the side of the plug, the volume can be changed and muted.
