About this product
The Vacmaster 20L Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner is a proper all-rounder for tackling everything from workshop dust to spills at home. It handles wet and dry messes across all floor types, including carpets, rugs, hard floors, laminate, upholstery and stairs. The 1250W bypass motor delivers 200 air watts of suction, which is enough to shift dust, rubble and water without fuss. It runs bagged or bagless depending on what you need, and the 20l capacity means fewer trips to empty it. At 4.6kg, it's not the lightest, but it's manageable for moving between rooms or out to the garage.
The clever bit is the power tool socket. Plug tools into the 1740W socket and the vacuum starts automatically, extracting dust as you work. The blower adds versatility for clearing leaves or debris. The 2.5m hose and 4m power cord provide good reach. It includes a 10 floor head, crevice tool, round dusting brush, power tool hose adaptor, 3 extension tubes, disposable cartridge filter, foam filter, and standard dust bag. It holds 12.2l wet and 20l dry, runs at about 75 decibels, and works on carpets, deep pile, wool, hard floors, laminate, upholstery, stairs and sealed wood and tile flooring.

Great feature and easy to use

It's easy to use.
It's easy to use. But the carpet head is so plastic and the brush isn't fit for purpose. They're not going to last very long before I have to buy new brush and carpet head. I mostly use it for cleaning water from the passenger side of the car.

Vacmaster 20L
I found the flexible vacuum hose too long and unwieldy, the power lead was shorter than my previous vacuum cleaners, the capacity of the dust bag was reduced by about 80 percent by the paper filter, and the vacuum head had an interchangeable head for hard and soft floors which were extremely difficult to change. I wouldn't buy another one.

"Yes, the Vacmaster 20L wet and dry can be used with a sander. The wet and dry can either be connected directly to the sander for dust extraction, Or the sander can be plugged into the power take off socket for remote power synchronisation. The power take off socket has a maximum wattage of 1740W."

No, this does not come with a HEPA filter.
If you do want to use one in this appliance, a compatible HEPA 13 filter can be purchased separately, the Vacmaster HEPA H13 Filter for 15-60L Wet and Dry Cleaners, (Cat no: 463/3181).
Alternatively, the Vacmaster L Class 20L Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner, (Cat no: 433/7793), has dual HEPA filtration as a further option.
