The Samsung RB33B610EWW EU Freestanding Fridge Freezer is a solid choice if you need proper storage without dominating your kitchen. It's a bottom-freezer design with around 230l for fresh food and 114l for frozen, plenty for most families. SpaceMax Technology uses thinner walls to give more usable space inside without extra kitchen footprint. The Total No Frost system means no defrosting every few months, and All-Around Cooling keeps everything evenly chilled so food stays fresh longer.
It's got 4 adjustable glass shelves, 2 salad crisper compartments, a quick chill section, and a non-plumbed water dispenser. Great all round fridge/freezer.
I was in two minds regarding this purchase as I was tempted by the Bosch F/F at the same cost. What decided me was the layout of the internals and the smooth operation of the drawers. I also like the temperature control system as it’s far more logical.

Great addition to my kitchen.
I bought this fridge freezer to replace a 15 year old one that had started to develop a fault. I spent a long time looking through the different brands and models available and reading the reviews. Eventually I decided that this Samsung one was the best option for me and for the available space/ceiling height in my kitchen. I was a bit worried about fitting everything in it as my old one had 4 full length door shelves and 2 deep salad/veg drawers but these worries were unfounded as this is actually very spacious inside. The door shelves are deep so everything fits in perfectly, and while I would actually prefer to have separate drawers for my veg and salad the single drawer is very roomy and I am able to fit everything in together. I can fit plenty on the fridge shelves and in the freezer. The freezer drawers glide in and out smoothly and effortlessly, so different to the drawers in my old one which I actually had to battle with to get them to work.i set the dial at 3, which was the recommended setting, and the temperatures of both fridge and freezer seem to be perfect. It freezes quickly with no sign of frost whatsoever and the fridge stays beautifully cold. I also love the alarm that beeps if the fridge door is open for too long. Apart from preventing it being left open accidentally, I was always telling my son off for standing there with the fridge door wide open staring in it while wondering what to eat - now the fridge tells him off and saves me a job! I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Having checked I can see this takes around an hour. The manual does state to set this to the coldest temperature for an hour and then reduce to the required temperature.
