Have had several of these shavers before, product good value. Easy use, giving a reasonably close shave. I must admit instead of trying to replace foil/head, I find it's just as cheap or cheaper to buy another shaver. Great thing about this purchase was it was special offer. The manufacturer advise that before starting you make sure that the skin is perfectly clean and do not apply any cream or body milk.

Hi Sam.....Just received Argos's email.
I've searched through the instruction book that came with mine and under the heading "Preparation of the skin" it advises: " Do not apply any cream or body milk".
In fact, I use a small amount of soap before shaving and it hasn't seemed to have done any harm !!

This would be perfect as the shaver is quite gentle compared to some IV experienced over the years-and although its battery the batteries last a long time.
