About this product
This Neff built-in compact oven with microwave will always give you the best results. It gives you plenty of space to cook with the family with a 45 litre interior and it's multifunctional, so you'll have a wide range of options to help you perfect every recipe. Cook quickly and conveniently - If you want space and functionality, this two-in-one oven is perfect. Defrosting, microwaving, baking and roasting – it's all part of the package. You can thaw out your casserole and cook it afterward or quickly bake your puff pastries.
Cleaning made easier - Easy Clean softens baked-on residue so you can just wipe it down. Add 400ml of water with a drop of washing-up liquid in the bottom of the oven cavity and select the cleaning programme. The steam helps lift away residual food so that the oven can be wiped clean.
Are you sometimes unsure which programme to use? Just ask the Oven Assistant using the Home Connect app and simply say what dish you want to prepare. The oven will suggest suitable settings or programmes and switch directly to your selection – an extremely convenient feature.

Customers Say
The NEFF combo oven offers great functionality and cooking results, but many users find the touch screen controls frustrating and prone to issues. Some also report problems with moisture buildup and connectivity.

Microwave function terrible. Avoid this appliance
I had a NEFF combo oven for years which worked perfectly, this was bought to replace it when it stopped working. What a mistake! I use it each morning to make porridge, it cooks VERY unevenly. But the worse part is that when it’s finished the interior is SATURATED, I have to mop it out. The fan is not able to deal with any steam rising from food, this means there is a puddle on the floor of the appliance if it is used for more than four minutes. I called an engineer out to look at it, he suggested I install a ventilation grid under the microwave. This I did, it made no difference! The microwave still has puddles of water in it after use. When I told the engineer that my old microwave didn’t do that he replied 'that was an older model, the new ones are different'! I don’t know where to go from here. I paid over £1200 for this almost unusable appliance which has to be mopped out after use. I would strongly urge you to avoid making a costly mistake by purchasing this model.

Looks good but complicated to use
I bought this to replace an existing Neff. The control panel is difficult to get to grips with even the Neff engineer could not make it work

Cooking on….electricity.!
Great product, the combi oven is really useful and helps reduce cooking times for some meals. The results so far have been really good and the on line cooking tips are really helpful for obtaining the best results.

A great and extremely useful combi oven
Takes a bit of time to get used to the display screen and can be frustrating at times as the appliance almost expects certain actions. The oven is amazing and so far has produced really good results. I really like the different levels for cooking with the metal runners. The wire rack design makes it easy to remove items from the oven.

Great product
Really like our new combi oven. We purchased this as a replacement for our previous combi which was over 17 years old. Being honest it took a few days to get used to the touch screen but once we started using it you realise how much more accurate it is compared to a dialled system. It is also a lot quieter which is a godsend! We are still getting used to the "home connect" system but it is a handy tool to have on your phone, iPad allowing you be in another room when cooking. The whole unit delivers what you would expect from Neff! Neff.

Teething troubles
Touch screen is difficult to operate, takes 4 or 5 attempts to get it to register.

Not as good as the old model
The operating screen to select the cooking options is tiny and gets dirty with fingers which are cooking. The old dial system was much better. I deleted the phone app within a few days. Who needs ones phone to tell you whats happening in the kinchen. You should be checking as you cook.

Initial thoughts meantime
We've recently purchased this unit as a replacement for our old and faithful H5972N0GB/01 combined microwave/hot air oven and grill, which we've owned for the last 16.5 years. These are just my initial impressions and I will update this review after a period of use. Whilst an attractive model, I'm not liking the small touch screen too much and far more preferred our previous model's user friendly functionality which comprised of button and nob control. Buttons and nobs are much easier and quicker to use - particularly when your hands are in 'cooking/baking' mode and you can't find your glasses to peer at the small screen. The downgraded microwave power options are also taking a bit of getting used to. The downgrade was a bit of a dissappointment when seeking our replacement and we are slowly getting used to adding 50% to the time it now takes to use the microwave only function. There are a lot of helpful features to see once the glasses are on and we are looking forward to further explore these and see how we settle in to this new way of doing things. I'm not a touch screen fan in cars either so it's not just applieances I have a beef with :)
