About this product
Our hobs are made to match your kitchen and lifestyle, thanks to the timeless design of Bosch. This Bosch induction hob has 4 cooking zones and 17-stage variable power settings for each zone allowing you to precisely adapt the heat with 17 power levels. Or if you like to make big batches to save on cooking, join two zones together with CombiZone.
Induction technology - Induction hobs warm the pan and not the hob, so you get instant, precise heat. This means lower energy bills, more control over temperature when cooking and easier to clean afterwards.
More freedom from your cooking - If you ever need more space for a long piece of cookware, such as a roasting dish, you can combine two individual cooking zones into one large zone with a combined heat level at the touch of a button with CombiZone.
Easy installation - Plug & Play hobs are designed to work off a standard plug and are an ideal choice for light usage households that want a basic induction hob. When multiple cooking zones are engaged, the power slightly diminishes, this may be inconvenient for larger households. If more power is required a hard-wired hob is recommended.

Not impressed
I had previously Beko induction hob and it was half the price and more intuitive. This Bosch is expensive downgrade in my view. Reasons as follows: 1. The interface is congested and lacks clarity. 2. You have to press buttons to increase power - slider would be much better. 3. The buttons are not sensitive enough. Not the best investment. I hoped for better features but I recived what I would get for much cheaper brand like Beko for half the price. Overall 3 stars because it does what it should in the end.

Very disappointing
Worked well until using 3 pans at the same time, I know induction hobs click and buz, but this was ridiculously loud. Only 2 rings came on, the third wouldn’t get past 2, which wouldn’t even boil water. Eventually completely stopped working. Stood in the kitchen with 2 hungry children. Useless. Avoid

So Easy to Use
Bought to replace an old gas hob. Very easy to install and works brilliantly. I wish we had changed to electric before.

Shouldn’t have got rid of the gas hob😢
Looks fab, easy to clean, but I’m finding it really hard to adjust to electric induction. We chose the more expensive hob, as we thought it would be better than the cheaper model. You can’t use all 4 rings at the same time.even on 4. I can’t see Christmas dinner being fun! The small ring at the back is useless as you have to reach over the hob to use it . ( I’m only 5 ft.) It should have been at the front. The gas hob let you use, any pan on any ring, but this will only let you use small pans on small rings, big pans on big rings. Must admit I’m not impressed.

Hello Sarah. The Bosch PWP611BB5B Induction Hob is made in Spain. Thanks for using Q and A.
Hi there.
If you already have a Gas Hob and want to purchase an induction hob, the installer would not fit this. They will only fit the same type of appliance.
Hope this helps

Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Molly.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Bosch PWP611BB5B Induction Hob - Black.
All 4 rings can be used at the same time on the PWP611BB5B. The available settings depend on the maximum power of the hob (13amp). Each zone will only allow you to use the setting within the power available. You will not be able to use all four zones on maximum power at the same time.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Andy.
Bosch PWP611BB5B Induction Hob - Black:
This hob is equipped with a UK 3 pin plug for an easy plug & play installation. The plug limits the maximum power output to 3.7 KW. For higher power output, please select a hob without plug and ensure installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.
Thank you for using Q&A.
