About this product
The Kaycie Mid Sleeper gives you a space-efficient bed that's high enough to create extra room underneath but low enough for easy goodnight kisses. It's made from solid wood, so the frame stays strong and stable through years of climbing, playing and sleeping. The raised design lets you tuck storage, a play den, or spare furniture underneath, making the most of compact bedrooms. Suitable for ages six and over, it works as a practical bed for children and teens. The white finish fits with most bedroom colours and styles.
The ladder can be fixed on either side to suit your room layout and access. Wooden slats support the mattress, no box spring needed. Safety rails keep sleepers secure through the night. Wall fixings are included and must be used to anchor the frame to the wall for stability. Maximum user weight is 120kg, so it's safety tested for adult use too. Use a mattress up to 16cm deep for safe operation. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Backed by a two year manufacturer's guarantee.

I bought this for my 4yr old grandaughter a month ago to try and get her to sleep in her own bed and not with her parents like she has been doing since birth as she has attachment issues and is Autistic and has ADHD, we made her a play den underneath it with all her own toys in it, and she plays under it for hours on end and she now sleeps in the bed on her own in her own room this is a brilliant bed and is very sturdy and comfortable. Best buy I ever made. The instructions to put it together were accurate and very simple to follow it was up in now time. The desire is exceptional for a small child as they can play underneath the bed and store all their toys.

Awesome space creating bed!
A nice sturdy bed frame which is very well made and provides far more storage space in a little room. It's not easy to build and will take 2 hours (especially in a small room with limited space so you can't use an electric screwdriver!) but once its on four legs it gets easier to complete the build. The only downside is there is probably too few lats provided (I used two from the old bed at the top of the ladder as I thought this area having climbing knees putting weight on them needed more support).

Yes, the bed comes with 2 wall brackets and 4 screws, which are used to attach the brackets to the bed itself.
However, because walls can be made from different materials (such as concrete, brick, plasterboard, or wood), the appropriate wall plugs and screws for your specific wall type are not included. These will need to be purchased separately from your local DIY store.
