Lovely tree fits into smaller spaces but maintains it's height. Needs about 480 lights. Smaller baubles recommended to not crowd the branches. Great price. Love argos!

Excellent, just what we wanted
Our expensive white tree didn’t look right in the corner of our lounge so days before Christmas we purchased this cheap green pencil tree. Guess what, we love it, it’s perfect for the corner where we wanted to put it and doesn’t take up so much space. By the time I purchased it it was also half price, what a bargain. It’s also very light to lift in and out of the loft.

I can advise the Argos Home 6ft Pencil Christmas Tree comes in two parts that should easily slot together and fit into the base. It does not include a separate connector. This tree is not cat proof but if you search online you will find tips for deterring your cat from trying to climb the tree i.e. having a scented repellent, using a heavy base, avoid tinsel (toxic to cats) and shiny decorations.

I don't know what you mean by 'cat proof'. My cat is not bothered by it but I'm sure some cats will try and climb it.
