About this product
For stairs or doorways that need a barrier without drilling. This pressure fit safety gate squeezes snugly into place (no screws, no damage to walls) and suits openings that fall in that awkward mid-range where fixed gates won't fit. The squeeze and lift handle opens with one hand, which is useful when you're carrying a baby or a basket of washing. A double lock keeps it secure, and it swings both ways for doorways or just one way for the bottom of stairs.
The 4-point pressure fit frame holds firm without any wall fixings, so you can move it between rooms as needed. It arrives assembled and ready to install. The step-over bar creates a proper barrier without taking up too much space in narrower hallways. One-handed opening means you can unlock and swing it open while holding a child, and the double locking system ensures it stays shut when little ones push against it. Extensions are available separately if you need to fit wider openings later on.

Fits securely, could open wider
Bought for the bottom of the stairs. The gate fits securely without need to drill, however is a little wobbly if screws are extended to their extremes. The gate only opens to 90°, I wish it opened wider to be give better accessibility

Great Gate
A great gate just what we needed to keep our dachshunds out of one of the rooms when we’re not there. We used it with one extension piece and it was brilliant, easy to put up and no drill needed if you don’t use the the cup pieces which it recommends. We felt we didn’t need to as we don’t have a toddler.

Excellent, does what it says on the box
I bought yet another one.of these after selling the last two when my last dog died. They are easy to install and basically do what it says on the box. This time I am putting it at the bottom of the stairs and not on a doorway, so I've had to order a 7cm extension because the gap at the sides is wide enough for my very small dog to get through. She is houdini 🐕

The Munchkin Lindam Easy Fit plus Deluxe Safety Gate fits openings from 76cm to 82cm, or up to 117cm with the use of separate extensions (sold separately), so you will need to use separate extensions for an 86cm gap; The distance between the end of the pressure fit screw and the gate depends on how wide you are setting the screws to reach the width of the gap.
