About this product
This magnetic door screen lets you walk through your doorway without letting flies, moths, mosquitoes, wasps or bees follow you inside. It's got magnets running along the central opening that snap shut the moment you've passed through, creating a barrier that keeps bugs out while fresh air flows freely. The mesh design means you can prop the door open on warm days without worrying about uninvited guests, and it's straightforward to fit with all the fixings included in the box.
The magnetic closure works instantly, so there's no fumbling with catches or handles when your hands are full. You can walk straight through and it seals itself behind you, which makes it brilliant for busy households or when you're carrying shopping or the kids are running in and out. It comes with a one-year guarantee, and at 200cm tall by 100cm wide, it fits standard doorways without any fuss.
- All fixings included.
- Additional features: View our PDF below for how to attach to the door with the fibre fix strips provided. Perfect for single doors, please note this cannot be cut to size or used across double doors. This is perfect for sunny days and is easily removed when not in use.
- Size H200, W100, D5cm.

Good for the money
Cheap as chips, very simple but very effective and easy to install . Three or four extra fasteners wouldn’t be out of the way though.

Does the job but poor quality
The mesh fabric started fraying and separating from the main hem adhesive area

Awful!
This door screen is badly made, of poor quality materials, and sold with insufficient tape to install it with. In short, a waste of money.

Rubbish item
Bought this item and fitted it as per the instructions and within 30 mins the top had frayed to a point where it could no do what it was intended for. Absolute rubbish. Returned and refunded.

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless DO NOT buy. Hard to install with sticky back labels which are supplied and it does not hang well and not worth £10 or even £1

warning of magnets
I hadnt realised they were not suitable for people with pacemakers because of the magnets. The warnimg should have been made more obvious in large print on description & on box.

Thanks for using Q&A.
Small very sticky pads and if the doorway is wood, there are sharp tacks for a better hold. Hope this helps
Hi Jacqueline,
I can advise that the Snap Screen may not be big enough for patio doors.
The Snap Screen is 100cm wide x 200cm long.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes, as long as the doors are recessed and the fly screen clears handles etc
Ive folded, then stapled mine at either side to shorten them width wise and its perfect. My door is 20cms shorter. Then I used the Velcro pads and pins provided to secure it to the frame. Staples and folds cant be seen.
Theres lots of online help videos on you tube if you need them.
Hi Colin d.
JML Snap Screen can fit doors that have a width up to 100 cm and cutting to size is not recommended.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi Gem
The JML Snap Screen is designed to stop small insects. It should also help to deter birds from flying into the room. If taut, the birds will bounce off.

Hi Deandy,
JML Snap Screen
It cannot be cut down. Having checked to see, the manufacturer advises that they recommend putting a pleat in the curtain instead of cutting it as it can fray the material.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Rosie and Dexter
Yes, the cat would be able to use their cat flap but to be able to walk through it would have to push its way in.
Thanks for using Q&A.
