Very happy with this iron, and intrigued as to how the temperature settings work as they are automatic. We like the way the heat warning light works and auto shutdown as well. It high tech and fun.

I would recommend the item as brilliant to use.
I’m very happy with the item. As you put the iron on clothing it setts the temperature and so smooth to glide. The steam function is brilliant.

Terrible, most ineffective iron I've ever used
Absolutely useless, so disappointing. Best part of this iron is the wind up and store plug, as for temperature, completely hopeless. 90% of my ironing is 100% cotton and you'd barely know a pillowcase or shirt it has been near an iron. No means of altering the temperature, my usual wet finger heat test on the bottom doesn't even raise a hiss.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Russell Hobbs Easy Store Pro Plug and Wind Steam Iron 26731: ''The Easy Store Pro Plug and Wind Steam Iron 26731 does not have a temperature setting dial but the temperature of the iron is safe to use on all ironable fabrics and garments.''

No Gem. it doesnt have a knob to turn. Apparently supposed to work on different materials automatically, but I dont trust it. Have taken it back.
