Does what it says on the tin, but has a sturdy build and was easy to construct. Definitely recommend paying the little bit extra for something that feels solid, rather than flimsy. Played with adults using lots of power and it holds up well. Lots of fun, much more tiring than I remember it being.

Good fun for all
A success with my grandchildren ages 4 to 10 and their parents too. It is fairly stable and the height can be altered. The only fault I would say is the stopper for the waterfill is very poor. It distorted and would not fit back in.

The lid to the box was a little difficult to get fitted and the ball came off the string within a week of use so I had to buy a new ball and string from Swingball. Don't be fooled by 'Pro' title.

The two items are different sizes and weights. The details are as given below.
For the Classic Swingball All Surface:
Size - Height 165cm, Width 49.5cm, Depth 42cm.
Weight - 2.85kg.
For the Pro Swingball All Surface:
Size - Height 176cm, Width 50cm, Depth 42cm.
Weight - 3.34kg.
It's taller and faster than original Swingball. It also has an an improved lid that means you can prevent leakages and increase water capacity for unrivalled stability.

The supplier has advised the following for the Pro Swingball All Surface:
"Swingball is primarily an outdoor toy; the product has a ‘tether adjuster’ which can shorten the string for use in smaller gardens but the space to play will depend on the height, arm span and style of play of the user when they swing the bat to hit the ball. e.g. a smaller child will need less space to swing the bat when hitting the ball than a tall adult."
Essentially, indoor use would be limited by the size of the room (and presumably also the room being free of any objects and furniture that could get in the way). An unusually large and empty room could potentially be OK to use this in but, for most domestic room types and sizes, it's not likely to be viable.

It's not ideal for indoors as you have to fill the bottom with either water or sand but if your house is big enough for it to swing around and you have floors that wouldn't get ruined if you spilt anything I suppose ypu could but think it's really an outside toy.

As far as I know there is no difference.

I am sorry to say that the Swingball Pro can not be used without the base. The base is weighted down by filling with water so could still be OK to use on a slope but it is impossible to confirm with any surety.

Yes, absolutely.
Yes tall snough for adult use.
In ours there is a recess in the bottom of the base which the round end sits in. We then put sand in the base and put the yellow spacer on the pole before we put the lid on. The green spacers then go on the top of pole and you add as many so you get to the height you want it. Then the pole with the top on. Put the ball on last.
