When the garden's calling but you want to keep it simple. The Plum Square Wooden Sand Pit gives small diggers their own space to build, pour and shape, without taking up half the lawn. It's made from premium timber with rounded corners, built for outdoor use and suited to ages 18 months and up with adult supervision. Works as a sandpit when the sun's out, or fill it with play balls for indoor-style play in fresh air.
Includes protective cover to keep rain and debris out when not in use, plus a ground sheet that blocks weeds and lets water drain through. The square shape fits neatly into corners or against fences. Easy to assemble, flat-packed for delivery. Adult supervision required during play.

Sandpit
Great sandpit for our 2 year old. Big enough that he can sit in it but not so big that it takes up the whole garden. The ledge around 2 of the sides makes a good little bench seat too. We bought 10 x 15kg bags of sand as this was the most we could order in one go for home delivery and that was sufficient

Great Sand Pit
Perfect size, lots of others were too small. Value for money was amazing compared to other websites. Comes with cover and can easily be painted to match garden decor. Done ours black to match the fence.

Great sandpit.
Great size sandpit and really easy to put together. There is a netting type material that goes on the bottom but I used the plastic cover for the bottom and it's elasticated around the corners so works well. I bought a cheap tarpaulin to use as a cover. Could be used as a ball pit too or just to pop a baby in with toys. Great value at half price and it can be unscrewed and stored ready for next year.

Nice sandpit with some adaptations
The sandpit itself is a good size and took 10-12 bags of 20kg play sand. The cover has two holes in which let the rain in so I will need to build something better but once painted it was perfectly suitable for our girls

Looks smart but let down by the base
Easy to put together and a good size. Unfortunately the base is a bit of fabric which ruins it a little. Takes loads of sands and looks good.

Brilliant sandpit, perfect size for kids to use for a few years. Easy to construct, took me an hour but that was with the help of my two year old For reference for other buyers, it took 10 25KG bags of play sand to fill to 3/4. Doesn't need any more than this :)

This sand pit has not been treated. It does advise in the manual that the timber should be treated with a proprietary product to act as a protective barrier, i.e. a water repellent, on an annual basis.

I can confirm the holes in the sandpit cover are to comply with safety standards and prevent the risk of suffocating if a child crawls under the cover.

We just bought 150kg of sand, thinking we would have at least one bag spare based on the previous answer and not wanting it full to the top but it's just over half full with 150kg so we are going to add another 50 kg to make it about 3/4 full
