First climb, first swing across. The Plum Wooden Monkey Bars bring outdoor climbing into your garden anti-slip rungs, a cargo net for scrambling, and a frame that's built for active play. It's designed for ages 3 with adult supervision, anchored to the ground before use. Swinging bar to bar, climbing the net, making up routes, it's all here.
The anti-rotation bars keep grip steady, so hands don't slip mid-swing. Steel rungs are galvanised and powder coated for outdoor life. The cargo net gives a second way up and adds another challenge. Anchor kit supplied, this needs securing to the ground before play starts. Self-assembly required. Manufacturer's warranty covers wood rot and insect damage.

Brought the monkey bars after purchasing the swing set lovely wooden set quality of wood ok but company needs better instructions not very clear pictures and the screws and bolts could be better explained in instructions but finally built tock a few hours

We bought these a year ago and the kids (8 and 6) have loved them. Invented all kinds of games on them. Would definitely recommend.

Product looks good and quality
Product looks good and quality seems good too. Kids used it and loved it. I assembled it on my own. Just need to concrete it to make it stable and all anchors were supplied with it anyway. The only thing is maybe having all the different screws/bolts and nuts in individual bags instead of everything being mixed together. Cannot judge on how the product will aged as it is brand new in my backyard. Quiet happy with it my girls are 6 and 7 and is not an easy Monkey bar set for them! So plenty of room to progress which is great. Thanks

Hi Bob! The Monkey Bars do not come with the concrete - this is required to be purchased separately. They do come with the ground anchors for which cannot be drilled into concrete or paving that is already in place. Thanks!

Hi Kat! I can confirm that the Wooden Monkey Bars must not be installed over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface. This item needs anchoring into grass with the anchors provided and concreted in to prevent any lifting of the frame during use. Thanks!

No, grass would not be suitable, it'd be too soft to hold any fixings and, also, would not be able to keep the fixings in the ground. It needs to be fixed down to a hard, permanent surface like concrete.
