About this product
When you need more than just a slide and a swing. The Plum Wooden Climbing Cube XL is a full garden play station that wraps climbing, sliding and swinging into one wooden frame a crow's nest lookout with fireman's pole, monkey bars, trapeze, rock wall with grips, cargo net, ladder with metal rungs, and a wave slide. Plus a camouflage fabric den underneath. It's built for outdoor use with adult supervision, suitable for ages 3 and up.
The crow's nest lookout sits at the top with a fireman's pole drop. The rock wall and cargo net provide two ways up, the ladder provides a third. Plum play cube
Instructions are not easy to follow. Didnt help that 1 piece of wood was not correctly drilled. It was full of knots and wood filler obv been removed to repair it and not finished. Took longer than 2 people x 6 hours. Its much bigger than we anticipated too ! but. ...the kids absolutely love it. On the rare days its stopped raining, they've been out on it. Not great since it still needs cementing into the ground for stability. Thats next weeks job. Its not a job for the weak and needs some intestinal fortiude to keep going but its worth it.

Excellent for all ages
I was worried this wouldn't be big enough for my ten year old but he has so much fun on this alongside our 4 year old. They are constantly finding new ways to play on the cube and we are hoping to replace one of the swings with something else they can climb/play with. The build itself was tedious. The instructions were brilliant it just came in many, many pieces and took hours. It's well built though and feels like a good quality. It also looks glorious, which I was worried about. It isn't the most aesthetic climbing frame on the website but it looks really nice up and in our garden.

Great fun but not built to last.
It lasted two years, screws are not the best quality, my husband has replaced some as they've actually snapped . Frame became rickety.

Great once assembled, tricky instructions
Great frame for adventurous 5 and 4 Yr olds. Speedy delivery! Instructions don't make sense or contradict themselves in parts. Had to drill some holes in one piece of wood as holes weren't aligned correctly. 6hrs to construct for 2 people is about right.

Great for the kids, just needs better attention when packing!
Good quality product in the end, however some holes in the wrong place so needed new holes drilled and incorrect poles provided so had to be cut down to fit. The kids love it now its up. Would be 5 stars if the right parts were sent!

Parts missing
We paid extra to get the cube built. There were parts missing (still waiting for delivery) so the build could not be completed. Very disappointing as we'd saved up for this for our 4-year-old for Christmas.

I think the frame as
I think the frame as entertainment for the kids is excellent. But we had difficulty putting it together. We think some of the holes were wrong and had to drill new holes. Some of the bolts were not great either. At this price I expected the quality of parts to be excellent to be honest. I also would have liked the option to replace the slide with another part which I couldn't see easily. Once it was up, it's great for the kids. They love the climbing wall.
