It broke one week later, ruining the engagement
I bought a cubic zirconia silver 925 hallmarked engagement ring from Argos in Alperton. One week later it broke. 4 of the side stones fell out, 2 on each side, and it wasn't realized until however long after, not being able to find the stones. This ruined our engagement and my Ex Fiancée left me because I bought what she called, a tacky ring. It caused me so much stress that the love of my life left me, that I have been doing counseling for the past 5 months. If I could turn back time, I wouldn't have gone to Argos for the ring, and I would have saved money to buy a ring, long before preparing to propose to my Ex Fiancée on her birthday. Which is actually the day I bought the ring, went home, proposed, and received the answer "Yes".. until it broke.

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised.
The ring is 925 sterling silver but will not have a full hallmark.
This is because the ring weighs less than 7.78 grams so does not require one by law.
The jewellery is still tested by an Assay office to make sure that it is 925 silver.
