About this product
Need to trim lawn edges or tackle grass that's grown too thick? The Spear and Jackson 40cm Corded Rotary Lawnmower is an electric mower that handles medium lawns with ease. The 1700W motor powers through dense grass without hesitation. You'll get neat stripes using the rear roller as you work. Side combs guide grass towards the blade for clean edge-to-edge cutting. The central height adjustment lets you switch between seven cutting positions quickly. It's corded so you'll have consistent power throughout the job.
The steel blade cuts with precision across the width. You'll know when to empty using the full indicator on the hybrid collection bag. The handle adjusts to your height and folds down for compact storage. It's got a long power cable so you can cover more ground without swapping sockets. The safety switch prevents accidental starts during cleaning and maintenance. This rotary mower is designed for homeowners who want reliable lawn care.

Powerful, durable lawn mower with excellent cutting performance and large grass collection. Some find it heavy and assembly instructions unclear. Mixed feedback on noise and cord length.

Great Machine
Very powerful machine , a wee bit heavy but there is a shoulder strap for prolonged use .One thing to note is that there is two sets of screws for the handles , bottom set is the ones with the square washers but the other you have to undo the bolt , thread it through from the inside then attach the round washer then screw on the handle .The cutting basket has 4 plastic clips to put around the metal frame . Well worth the money if you have a rough bit of ground to prepare , even got carried away and cut the neighbours grass as well.

Adjustable height not working
A bit disappointed with my purchase, unpackaged and everything seemed to go ok, but the adjustable height lever wasn't working so I had to take it apart to fix it. Which was quite simple but I shouldn't have to fix something before using it!

Great purchase
Bought for brother in law. Well pleased as he has a big lawn and the wide cut and capacity of the grass cuttings box has made his task of garden maintenance much easier and faster

Great deal and great cut picked up next day
Hi I've actually cut my grass now when cutting the grass the cut is even and low, the grass collector is ample of space as I've got quite a large garden which the mower is easy to use but I can't really answer about the stripes as my old mower broke part the way through!!! It's left my lawn looking nice

Excellent mower
Bought on Saturday and used it for the 1st time today. My son put it together with no problems. Really easy to mow the lawns and the cut is great. The stripes look really good. Excellent efficiency and overall an excellent mower.

Impressive
Delivered on time by Argos. Assembly isn't time consuming but the instructions aren't the easiest. If in difficulty look the mower up on You tube. First cut was very good. Definitely recommend.
