Stylish and efficient
I brought this to replace my previous Dualit and I'm very satisfied. I love the design, it looks good on my worktop and it toasts quickly. Has a defrost button and wide slots so works for thicker slices/beigels.

Brilliant even toasting
I spent a lot of time debating buying an expensive toaster but I am so glad I did! Perfectly even toasting on both sides of the bread and the “peek and pop” option to check on progress is brilliant. Excellent toaster and worth spending that little bit more. Definitely recommend

Looks great and toasts well
Decided to go for a trusted brand British made toaster as a replacement for my second Russel Hobbs Attentive- that actually was rubbish and developed same fault on both toasters within 18 months. So far very happy indeed with the Dualit Architect, its solid and sturdy and toasts evenly, only gripe is large slices stick out the top a bit, so have to switch them around..but that's easy with the peak and pop lever 👍 Would recommend Dualit

Good looks on the outside, not much on the inside
It’s a good toaster - even browning to the edge of the bread. It’s fairly deep so no issue with part of the bread not being toasted. It’s well built with the dials having a satisfactory click and looks the part. The features are basic for the price though - there is a defrost and bagel option. If you’re willing to pay a premium for the looks then go for it.

This is a replacement Dualit toaster and is even better than the one we had before. They have obviously upgraded it. Love the fact it is UK made!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dualit 26526 Architect 2 Slice Toaster - Grey:
You cannot toast 1 slice only in these toasters, it has to be two. This is standard in most 2 slot toasters.
