A bit flimsy
It's a kettle so it boils water! Construction feels cheap and lid is awkward to open and close. Was expecting more for £60. On the upside it pours very well, a bit like the jugs on aeroplanes. Not a patch on my previous bosch kettle, interesting to see how long it lasts.

So Far, Excellent
Quick buy to replace a kettle of another make that had started leaking. Dualit have a good reputation and this is a no frills kettle that we had had an opportunity to trial in a recent holiday rental. No dramas with it, scale doesn't seem to build up as quickly as in its predecessors and is easily cleared without any little hard-to-reach areas left scaly! The filter in the spout is removable for cleaning, it does take a little wiggling to relocate it securely. It's not the quickest, largest or quietest, but for our needs is excellent.
