Cookworks Food Slicer
I bought this electric slicer about a month ago and it has been working perfectly so far. Cleaning is easy after removing the blade, which makes maintenance much more convenient.

As usual the manufacturers have "improved" the design, but then I'm an old "fuddy duddy" (well over 65!) and I will get used to it. But I will confess that the operating switch has been vastly improved.

I bought this to help me slice ham and bread. It does a good job but the guide is not secure and the whole unit is a faff to wash.

Not Great
Took the first one back as couldn't get it to unfold. This one is only slightly better, very stiff & quite difficult to slide, doesn't run smoothly. Bought it for slicing bread, have to use largest width setting otherwise it just crumbles, also the corner of the slices get stuck between the blade and it is quite dangerous to try and release.

The Food Slicer is able to cut cooked meat. Please ensure all bones, string and skewers are removed, prior to slicing. For best results when slicing warm meat and poultry, allow cooked meat to stand for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
