About this product
The Argos Home Toby Folding Dining Table gives you seating for six when friends come over, then tucks away to free up floor space when they leave. It's a drop leaf design with a central pedestal and two hinged sides. Lift one leaf and you've got a breakfast spot or workspace for two to four people. Open both leaves and there's room for six around the table. When you need the space back, fold both sides down and slide it against a wall or into a corner.
The white wood effect finish wipes clean after meals and fits with most kitchen or dining room colours. Cut-out handles in the pedestal let you shift it between rooms without awkward lifting. The base keeps the table stable when both leaves are up and in use. Pairs well with folding chairs if you want to keep the whole dining setup compact and moveable. Love the look and amazing design
I bought this a few months ago and it still works as well as before. Assembling was alright, except for the fact that I had to drill a couple of holes in the beginning. Love the design! It's very easy to expand when needed. The smiling mouth acts as slots for your hands so you can easily move it around. So it's perfect for my needs as I have a small living room with kitchen area.

I bought this table for my craft room as it doubles into a guest room, it was easy to put together, I managed it by myself, but two ppl would be better. when folded down, it is compact.and gives me plenty of room when it is unfolded. Thumbs up from.me .

Good product
The first delivery I received contained plywood pieces & screws etc that didn’t correspond at all with the Toby table instructions, but Argos customer services were helpful and arranged collection & swap the next day. Second time round, no problems at all and I am pleased with the table. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It’s not a stylish piece of furniture (chunky white plywood with Alan bolts showing) and castors would be helpful, but it’s functional and a good product on the whole.

perfect for small spaces
I brought this just before christmas so I had somewhere for hosting christmas dinner with guests. I dont have a seperate dining room, and the small table for 2 in the kitchen just wasnt enough. I thought this would be a good space saver and to be honest its perfect for what i need. It isnt the most sturdiest when its fully extended both sides, but given the price I didnt neccessarily expect it to be. its not made to be extended full time. but when not in use as a table it tucks up nicely against my wall and i can store things in the shelves inside it.
