The Vax Steam Fresh Total Home Steam Mop heats up in just 30 seconds and delivers 15 minutes of continuous steam per tank, which is enough to tackle a good few rooms before you need to refill the 0.26l water tank. It's designed for sealed hard floors, laminate, tile and wood, plus it works on carpets and rugs with the right attachment. The removable handheld unit clicks off easily, so you can reach awkward spots like grouting, windows and upholstery without lugging the whole mop around.
You get a full set of tools including flat surface tool, large and deep scrubbing brushes, window tool, detail nozzle, grout brush, and multiple steam cleaning pads including heavy duty ones for stubborn messes. Triangular pads reach corners and skirting boards. Trigger-activated steam lets you control release, with variable steam control and overheat protection. The 8m cord offers plenty of reach. At 4.63kg, it's heavier than some steam mops due to the detachable handheld and extras. Vax recommends their cleaning solution or water, and it's ready to use in 30 seconds.

This must be the most be the worst appliance I have ever purchased. It keeps coming apart when using it, it leaks water and only release an effective amount of steam if I keep my finger on the trigger.We are both getting on a bit and thought this would make life a bit easier but that is not the case.Perhaps I have been unlucky and have been given a defective appliance.

It takes a while to sort out what goes where, but it is very substantial and does the job well. I have cleaned floors and wall tiles, plus two loos with steam!

Cleans well.
Bought couple of months ago. Been away so only used 3 times. Quite heavy to push, does not glide like my previous steamer. Water container very small and if you switch to 'max' steam the floor is left very wet so I set it around three quarters. However it does clean well.
