The Vax Steam Fresh Home Steam Mop is a versatile cleaner that heats up in about half a minute and gives you around 15 minutes of continuous steam per tank. The compact water tank means you'll be refilling on larger jobs, but the long cord gives you plenty of reach around the room. It converts into a handheld unit with one click, so you can tackle upholstery, grouting, windows and carpets with the included carpet glider. The trigger-activated steam lets you control when it releases, and there's variable steam control with overheat protection built in.
The multifunctional floorhead includes a scrubbing brush for everyday marks, and Steam Boost adds power for stubborn dirt. It works on sealed wood, tile, laminate floors, carpets and rugs. Accessories include flat surface tool, small and large steam cleaning pads, scrubbing brush, window tool, detail nozzle, grout brush, triangular pads, carpet glider, and extra filter. Weighing just over 4kg, it's sturdy but manageable. Triangular pads reach corners and skirting boards, and the removable handheld unit lets you clean beyond floors. The brand recommends using water or their cleaning solution.

Love the smell!
Bought around a month ago. It's much heavier than my other Vax. Love the smell of the citrus product you can add. Cleans the floors well and I love that there is a trigger so it cuts the steam out when left.

Disappointed
I purchased this steam cleaner to help lift stains on my tiled floor that has been difficult to keep clean . Unfortunately whilst the machine is easy to use , having tried the cleaner with also the boost and scrub functions the floor is not looking any better . I have also tried using the detachable unit for other areas but overall I’m not too impressed with it . I will continue to use it but at the moment a mop and bucket it my preferred option

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately it didn’t not work. I was sent a replacement which also did not work ( not producing steam) so I’m afraid I can not give it a good review / I’m very disappointed as I had a vax one for years before it died recently 😢

One of the best cleaning appliances I’ve bought Absolutely brilliant for deep cleaning. Powerful steam, easy to use and it saves an incredible amount of scrubbing. I’ve used it on tiles, grout, kitchen surfaces, walls and windows. The scraper attachment is also fantastic for things like dried paint splashes on glass. I’ve seen complaints about having to hold the steam trigger. Yes, your hand gets tired, but I actually think it’s a very clever design. If you let go, the steam stops. With steam this hot and powerful, I’d much rather have a tired hand than uncontrolled steam. My only complaint is the small water tank — I refill it often. But honestly, I can live with that. A genuinely brilliant little machine. I don’t know how I managed without it.

Great steam mop
I bought this a month ago to replace an old vax steam mop. I like the extra boost button which directionally squirts steam when needed. As a floor mop I found it great and easy to use. The water reservoir is not the easiest to fill up. As for using it as a hand held steamer, I did try using it but wasn’t so impressed, perhaps it is just me.

Very impressed with this machine. Ready to use just seconds after turning on. Easy to set up and handle. In keeping with VAX high standards All done in less than half the time, and cleaning the machine after each use takes under 5 minutes. We love it! Would definitely recommend.
