Great kids watch.
I bought for 10 year old son as a basic watch. He loves it. Very easy to use and looks great. The face scratched within a day of using it but that would have probably of happened with any watch a kid is using. I would recommend as a simple good fitting kids watch.

Basic but fully functional
Bought 4 months ago and is working fine for my kid. Alarm goes off when it needs to. It has features we don't need such as different time zone, stopwatch and timer. The instructions leaflet is lengthy but it's straightforward to set the alarm etc. A kid would not manage to understand the instructions and change the alarm clock or work the stopwatch etc. But kid can tell time and hear the alarm. Lots of tiny info on screen but this is the simplest one we could find and it does the job.

Great little digital watch
10-year-old son is happy with this. It's a neat design but fits a lot in - he likes the timer and beeps he can set. My son has small wrists but the watch fit just fine. The diagram on the instruction booklet doesn't 100% match the face of the watch but the principles all seem the same.

My friend a 60 years young female doesn't use a watch to tell the time she uses a mobile phone. She particularly uses it BA on a Sunday for shop opening hours. Getting a easy read watch was difficult. She could read this watch easily,(the Lorus boys LCD watch) the only problem was the strap was too short. Took it back and bought the Casio unisex analogue watch, nice big face, water-resistant to 50m (Argos item 734/3959) which was cheaper. The lorus LCD watch is still nice for a young (child boy or girl) or a slim wrist adult. A difficult watch to set up if your used to Casio watches. Good value

"The strap is not available as a spare part". They advise that, were the strap to need a repair, subject to the cause and nature of the fault being one that the manufacturer would cover, they'd very likely look at replacing the strap. (Each fault/issue is dealt with on a case by case basis so we cannot give detailed or specific advice here).
