My friend a 60 years young female doesn't use a watch to tell the time she uses a mobile phone. She particularly uses it BA on a Sunday for shop opening hours. Getting a easy read watch was difficult. She could read this watch easily,(the Lorus boys LCD watch) the only problem was the strap was too short. Took it back and bought the Casio unisex analogue watch, nice big face, water-resistant to 50m (Argos item 734/3959) which was cheaper. The lorus LCD watch is still nice for a young (child boy or girl) or a slim wrist adult. A difficult watch to set up if your used to Casio watches. Good value

It says it's a boys' watch, but my daughter is very happy with it. Setting up instructions were a bit confusing, but she managed to work through them ok. Fits well on her wrist and clear display, good simple features.

Decent watch for a kid
Good watch for a kid, but unfortunately the time was already ticking when I opened the box so not sure how long the battery had been running already which is a shame.

"The strap is not available as a spare part". They advise that, were the strap to need a repair, subject to the cause and nature of the fault being one that the manufacturer would cover, they'd very likely look at replacing the strap.
