Absolute fantastic
This is a brilliant heater/fan so worth the money. I’ve been looking for a good heater for a few years as my house is very cold in winter and very hot in summer and my house runs on electricity so heating it is very expensive until I got this heater absolutely fantastic.

Great fan
Effective fan that filters the air too. It would be good if it could go a little bit colder to help with the heatwave.

Absolutely brilliant
I brought my Philips 3 in one a month ago (June 25), I love it, having the cooling circulation on is great , then you can use the fan if needs to be more direct. I’ve had my moneys worth out of it already, they aren’t cheap but well worth it. With having pets the purifier works a treat. It looks cool as well 😁

A 3-star performer
I've had this for exactly a month now. I mainly bought it for the cooling fan feature, but that’s been disappointing. The air purifier is slightly better, and the heating function works well. Overall, it feels a bit overpriced for what it offers.

A fan, that isn't an amazing fan
The power of the fan is wholly inadequate. Get a traditional fan instead. App user interface whist flashy didn't make any difference to my life and the controller felt like an afterthought. Heater was okay.

Excellent 3 in one air filter, cool, heat
I rate my Philips Air Performer 8000 a five star! Reasons being it does what I want in a air purifier and the bonus it's also a heater to take the edge off during the cold evenings blowing filtered air. I did alot of thinking before buying deciding on the Philips compare to the other brands as the filters are cheaper to purchase and in my opinion it looks nicer. I had no trouble with the App and wi-fi as long as you select it to use 2.4Ghz. As the others have said the instruction leaflet is basic, Philips could do with a online tutorial video to ease the set up easier.

Fantastic 3-in-1 air purifier
I have using this air purifier for over one year in a holiday apartment. It ticks all my needs as air purifier and heater. I have used heater function many times during winter period and is phenomenal. Great to control by the app. You can very quickly reset filter counter by the app. App remote function can sometimes have lack of response, and takes few seconds to communicate with the appliance.

Hello Daniela,
Philips AMF870/35 3-in-1 Air Purifier, Cooling Fan & Heater.
The AMF870/35 is designed to be energy-efficient, using only 40W to purify the air. However, it doesn’t have a specific energy class rating like some other household appliances.
It can be used by children aged 8 years and above and children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hello Puds.
Philips AMF870/35 3-in-1 Air Purifier, Cooling Fan & Heater:
This is made in Netherlands.
Thank you for using Q&A.
That is a good question. I have a similar product by Dyson, and I only know because I have a smart meter, that it doesnt use full power for heating all the time. It goes down to 1.2 Kw. This information should be provided by Philips, about the energy range for heating. If you have a smart meter, you could buy it and test it, and return it if not happy.
Hi RJ.

Hi Khaerr,
Thanks for contacting us. Yes! All of air purifiers equipped with an active carbon filter (such as this model) filter most pollutants including formaldehyde.
