The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Pet multi-surface cleaner is designed for families and homes with pets. It vacuums, mops, and dries in one go, plus it has an on-demand steam mode for ultimate cleaning results. The power of HydroSteam Technology tackles tough, sticky messes up to 20% better.
The LED headlights on the foot illuminate hard-to-see pet hair, dust and debris whilst the Tangle-Free Technology minimises hair wrap on the brush roll.
Unlike a mop and bucket, the CrossWave HydroSteam Pet has Two-Tank Technology which ensures you always clean with fresh water and formula.
Plus, it features an automatic self-cleaning cycle that allows for ease of clean after the clean-up, whilst the FreshStart Clean-Out formula and antimicrobial filter prevent the build up of pet odours for a fresher clean.

So far Great results
With a large tiled floor area have been looking for ages for a product that gets the floor clean and leaves it quickly dry without breaking my back. This finally seems to tick all my boxes , floor is clean and not walking around a wet floor.

Crosswave steam floor cleaner
Loving the crosswave steam floor cleaner. It’s easy to use and quickly adapts to work from rug to tiles and steam function is ready to use in 30 seconds leaving my floors really clean and dry. Doesn’t quite go right upto the edges hence 4 star but I can live with that

Great for versatility
Very good at cleaning floors bought this as I have vinyl plank flooring and was told not to steam as it swells and then leaves gaps but I have Lino in kitchen which sometimes requires steaming the floor really like cleaning performance and versatility but still requires a lot of maintenance after for saying it cleans it’s self

Needs More DRYING POWER>>>>>
I mop the floor with a wet mop and disinfectant first then use the bissell to rinse it and supposedly dry it, that is where it is dissapointing it does not dry well enough for my likeing...

A decent combination of functions
I wanted something that could steam and scrub. I found this. It has all the other features listed, and it works well. It can't get the toughest stains off, but it can't scrub as hard as I could with a hand brush - and that's to be expected. There's a small learning curve, but once you know how to set it up it's quick enough to use. Cleaning it after use is a bit of a faff, but still easier than cleaning without it. It doesn't seem to be able to clean my dirty grout lines between my floor tiles, as they are not flush with the floor, and I suppose the spinning brush doesn't have long enough fibres / bristles. I'm not sure how the design could be altered to accommodate this, so I wouldn't mark it down for that. It's just something I had hoped it would do well. I've not used it on any surface other than my tiled floor, as we have tiles throughout the whole house. The evidence is in the dirty water tank, and that's how I know it's working well.

Before using, check with the flooring manufacturer to confirm if the material is suitable for steam cleaning. It is advised to also test an inconspicuous spot on the surface of carpets for colorfastness and shrinkage. Do not use on silk or delicate rugs.

It can be just a vacuum. There's a trigger on the handle that you push to release the liquid and steam (depending on your setting). Personally speaking, if you're looking for a vacuum then buy a vacuum. I have tile floors and dogs, and it's great at doing both vacuuming, mopping and steaming all at the same time. It's more mop/steamer first, then vacuum.
