Absolutely love
I bought this about a month ago and love it. I do not own an espresso machine, and did not want to pay a hefty price for it just yet. I got this as a cheaper alternative, and absolutely adore it. The coffee tastes incredible. The coffee produced can, however, differ in consistency but I think that is just the nature of the Moka pot and the more I use it, the better I will get at it. However, for the price and quality of coffee you get, this is definitely worth it if you do not have a fancy machine!

Brilliant
I have wanted a moka for a long time but not sure if suitable for electric hob; so glad I got this. It’s aluminium so just fine with the hob and, although states 3 cups, as an espresso lover, it’s perfect just for me 😊 Fantastic value for money; I highly recommend it.

Good quality for our needs
Good quality, easy to use coffee pot. Nice size. Compact yet gives 2-3 espresso sized cups. Slight dribble when pouring, but not a major issue.

Really good for the price. A lot depends on the coffee and the strength you like. As for this pot… it does it’s job well.

i bought this item few weeks ago, it doest the job
the coffee machine has a great look and function very well, the only issue I found it's the handle made out of a bad quality (plastic), for a coffee machine because its plastic, and on fire it melt very easy, unless you keep the fire very low, but they could do better with a wooden quality which resist more fire to a certain level of heat.

Good value but not 3 cups
Good for the price compared to the leading Moka pot brands, however disagree that it makes 3 cups, I would say 2 single espressos or 1 cup with milk

Hello Teg,
The supplier has advised the following for the Pezzetti Italexpress Aluminium 3 Cup Coffee Maker:
In general, any surface capable of transmitting heat and bringing the boiler of the coffee maker to a boil can be considered suitable. However, they do advise that they cannot confirm with 100% accuracy without being able to see the design, size, and specs of the specific burner.
(The surface it goes on would need to be level, flat, wide enough, and stable enough for the coffee maker to rest on it safely while it heats. Also, we'd be assuming that it'd not be in direct contact with the smoke and the logs themselves which is not likely to be suitable, i.e. it'd be OK if the burner has hotplate/top onto which you can put items for heating/cooking).
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello shotaway.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Pezzetti Italexpress Aluminium 3 Cup Coffee Maker:
Kindly note that none of our coffee makers are true coffee percolators. They are all moka pots with a filter in which the coffee is placed.
Moka Pot: Uses steam pressure to force hot water through finely-ground coffee, producing a strong, espresso-like brew.
Percolator: Uses a continuous cycle of boiling water passing through medium-ground coffee, resulting in a more traditional drip coffee.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi Linda,
The supplier has advised the following for the Pezzetti Italexpress Aluminium 3 Cup Coffee Maker:
This works in a similar way to a stove top kettle. It’s not an electrical appliance. You’d fill it up with water and then heat it on the hob. The user manual gives further details.
1. Fill the lower container with cold water without exceeding the hole of the safety valve.
2. Put the funnel filter into the lower container and fill it with medium ground coffee without pressing the coffee and without leaving any coffee on the container edges.
3. Screw the upper section to the lower container firmly without prizing the handle.
4. Put the coffee maker on the cooker and wait a few minutes until the coffee had flowed into the upper container.
5. Remove the coffee maker from the heat and serve the coffee.
(If you are using an electric cooker, the "plate" diameter must be the same size or smaller than the coffee maker's bottom. If you are using a gas cooker, the flame should not be bigger than the coffee maker bottom. It's not suitable for induction though).
Thank you for using Q&A.
