About this product
Got mice in the shed or kitchen? The Big Cheese Free To Go is a live multi-catch trap that captures up to 10 mice humanely. It's ready-baited so you won't need to handle messy poisons or tricky setups. The transparent lid lets you check for catches without opening the trap. You'll use it indoors or outdoors for effective pest control. It operates silently at a frequency only rodents detect. This reusable trap is safe around children and pets.
The fully assembled design means you can start straight from the box. The welfare-friendly mechanism works without harmful chemicals or snap traps. It's pre-loaded with bait that attracts mice effectively. You won't disturb the catch-and-release process with the clear inspection lid. This multi-catch system handles several mice in one setting for practical pest management. The silent operation won't disturb your household while the trap does its work.

Cat brought a mouse in
Cat brought a mouse in then watched it run round the house. Put this trap down and it worked first time. Mouse went in for the food and got trapped, It was then realised in a field not too close to home unharmed, Worked perfect and ready to be used again the next time cat decides to bring another!

Big Cheese Mouse Trap
Caught Mickey and his pals within first 2 days of use. They were released into the countryside a long distance from our home. No further intruders. I’m very happy with this trap, mice not so!!

Mickey Mouse lives outside now.
Bought to capture a pesky mouse alive . Do not like to kill them as it is my fault for not filling a hole in the woodwork. It is hard to find them in most DIY places ,but Argos had them . Now free Mickey can live another day .

Me
A little patience and it works fantastically.
My cats decided to bring a little guest home. This was the perfect way to get them out. It takes a little patience, and we found Nutella was the best thing to lure them in, but if you follow the instructions and use some Nutella we had the mouse safely back into the wild within 48 hours.

Hi There.
The Big Cheese Ready-Baited Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap:
Having looked into this. The Trap is self setting, the mice go into the trap and are held there until being released. They walk through a one way opening flap, tempted by the smell of the bait.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hi Jonny,
Yes, the The Big Cheese Ready-Baited Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap is fully assembled so it is ready to use right away.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Cazz,
To release mice from the Big Cheese Ready-Baited Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap, take the trap at least 3 miles away from your home and hold the trap just above the ground with the door facing away from you and open it.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Stopper,
The supplier has advised the following for the The Big Cheese Ready-Baited Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap:
“ Yes, you can reuse, bait preference would be the attractant or peanut butter, chocolate spread or jam. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
No. Its too small to catch rats. You can get rat specific humane traps. Be aware rats dont like change so try to leave any trap you put down for rats in the same place for at least a few days, so they get used to it, BUT ALWAYS CHECK THE TRAP MULTIPLE TIMES EACH DAY-NIGHT, so you CAN RELEASE IT ASAP, SO NO ANIMAL IS TRAPPED AND LEFT TO DIE A SLOW DEATH OF STARVATION, DEHYDRATION AND FEAR. NEVER just leave a trap down without checking regularly. Otherwise no point getting a humane trap.
Hi Tom,
The Big Cheese Live Multi-Catch Mouse Trap is designed primarily for mice, but it can also be effective for rats.
Remember that rats are larger than mice, so while this trap can catch them, it might not be as efficient as traps specifically designed for rats.
Thank you for using Q&A
