About this product
The Luceco Essence PIR Floodlight brings powerful outdoor lighting with built-in motion sensing. The LED delivers neutral white light that switches on when it detects movement, handy for lighting driveways, pathways or garden corners. The PIR sensor adjusts for time delays and daylight sensitivity, so it only activates when needed. A dusk-to-dawn override keeps the light on through the night if you prefer continuous coverage. The slide-on bracket and prewired cable make installation straightforward, no complex wiring involved.
The Fit and Tilt ball joint lets you direct the beam exactly where you need it, useful for awkward angles or tucked-away spots. The aluminium head stands up to outdoor weather while the integrated LED bulb comes ready to use. The sensor range covers outdoor areas without constant adjustments. Suitable for home security lighting or practical illumination around entrances and pathways. Includes a two-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

well made- but the wiring could be a problem...
Bought to replace an existing PIR spotlight, couldn't use it because the wiring can't be changed- this unit has a sealed flex attached that can't be removed. Probably perfect for a 'new installation' - drilling through a garage wall? But would need a large hole, and a sealed junction box to connect to existing wiring? Pity- I liked the look of it....

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Luceco Essence 10 W PIR Floodlight: The design of the Essence range of floodlights is Integrated, meaning that the LED emitter chips are an intrinsic part of the lights and thus not something which can be changed separately (the lights are also sealed to maintain their waterproof rating, so getting inside isn't really possible anyway).

Our supplier has advised that the Luceco Essence 10 W PIR Floodlight is an anodised cast material in order to make them the most efficient heat-sink possible to extend the life of the electronics.
