Purchased around three weeks ago now so had a good amount of use. It fits nicely in hand so is comfortable to use. The design means it gives good coverage and the head pilots as it moves over your head. Cuts very well and gives a nice smooth shave. The shaver is also waterproof so can be used in the shower and is easy to clean. Would recommend.

Exceeded my expectations truth be told. I've always been apprehensive about trying these out.. I've got a few moles on my head and always worried that I'd get cut. Somehow, not at all! I'm a convert. Never goin back to using my beard trimmer. Now just have to get used to having a shiny bald scalp haha... I gave it a 4/5 only cuz you do need to go over each area a fair bit. If you're not careful, it's easy to miss a few hairs even if you went over that area..

Just bought the Remington RX5 and checked pdf manual and yes the teeth should be lubricated every 6 months. There should be oil included in the box.

The head only requires cleaning via a brush and warm water.

Having checked the manual for the Remington RX5 Ultimate Series Head Shaver XR1500, it does advise "Charge for 4 hours when using for the first time. This first charge is important to the shaver’s battery life".
