Fab Learn and play Lego for little ones
This is the cutest little set. The Lego is big enough for a little one to play with but not too big that it’s bulky. The letters on the blocks mean the little one can learn in a fun way. The pieces are packaged well and there are instructions. My son likes the 2 little people it comes with. It’s been well played with despite not having it long.

An attractive educational toy
The recommended age for this Lego Duplo set is 2+ and it is ideal for young children. With encouragement, my granddaughters, aged 2 and 3, both enjoyed exploring and playing with the beautifully coloured blocks which are an ideal size for little fingers. Construction is straightforward and the pieces fix together easily. Even though the set contains just 36 pieces, there is plenty of scope for imaginative play and learning. The two characters are cute and their features are clearly defined. The truck and trailer are sturdy and move quite smoothly on my carpeted floor. Both of my granddaughters found it awkward to clip the trailer onto the truck but I’m sure this will improve with practice. As with all Lego, this Alphabet Truck set is versatile and can be used with other Duplo sets. The set is marketed to enable learning through play and learning opportunities we have used so far are: grouping bricks by colour, counting them, building towers that were taller/shorter and briefly looking at the letters of the alphabet - including matching them to the illustrations on the paper mat included. The use of upper case letters on the bricks is what stopped me giving this set 5 stars. In my opinion, lower case letters would be more appropriate. Children don’t learn to read and write using capital letters so I’m not sure why they are printed on the bricks. I wouldn’t buy the set for this reason. However, if you don’t mind the capital letter alphabet then this is a fabulous set that will give hours and hours of enjoyment and learning.

Great gift
An excellent set for a toddler, girl or boy. My niece is 2 years old and loved this. Lots of parts so lots of different builds can be made in lots of shapes. It's very well made as you'd expect with Lego and it makes a great gift. Would recommend.
