Bought the island set,didn't realise it's so big!!! Really good value! I love the little boat/helicopter/shark etc... would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes lego!!!

Overcrowded prison cell
Good idea. Really needs more prison cells as 3 prisoners with one cell with two beds. Sometimes I wish lego would look into modular building possibly three separate sets that link together like to add more cells etc.

Awesome Set
We are lucky to have an independent LEGO shop near our village that has amazing stock and the latest sets. I bought this set and the new fire station. This was by the far the better set! Really fun build techniques but the best playability of any set we’ve had. He loves playing through the prisoners escaping under the bed into the tunnel and out to sea in the dingy. Highly recommend this set

Great set, would recommend
Our whole family enjoyed this build, the detail is great with lots of scope for imaginative play with secret escape tunnels and a “Great Escape” style underground escape cart on rails. I think a little more effort has gone into this design compared to other city sets, without losing accessibility for play. The 2 additional boats, helicopter and good selection of minifigures, including a dog means my son has already dreamt up a heap of action packed stories and the set has slotted in nicely with his existing models. Despite being large and detailed it was a straightforward and relatively quick build. However, this kit is nicely portioned out into 10 bags with I think 5 or 6 instruction books so if you wanted to break building into smaller chunks you easily could. Only downside would be that some of the stickers were tricky (the ones that sit inside the recess of a brick) but nothing beyond an adult with a pair of tweezers and a steady hand. Lovely imaginative set though which I think will be a favourite in our house for quite some time. Good work Lego!
