Solid wood is a great way to bring nature home. And the raw beauty of our washed pine 2-door wardrobe helps create a calming, scandi-like feel in the bedroom. An interior rail provides length hanging while 2 deep base drawers on easy slide metal runners give lots of room for jumpers and more.

Looks nice, bit flimsy
The slight white wash is much nicer than usual pine furniture. I bought it half price and even then think it’s a bit too much setup work and flimsy for the price. Had to correct a couple of predrilled screw holes too. But it looks nice and will do the job.

We had the chest dest drawers last week and found the two wardrobes we got was very much better to follow the picture's of putting both together. I did have trouble adjusting the doors but by looking again at the page explaining it was able to get them right

Badly made poor quality wardrobe
The wardrobe is not natural pine but instead finished in a white wash satin varnish but it’s probably one of the worst quality wardrobes I’ve ever had. Badly made parts from bad timber, parts that don’t fit and dowels that look like they were made by a beaver. I complained to Argos and they sent me a partial refund so at least they have good customer service.

This is not natural pine - it is white washed pine
Exactly the sort of wardrobe I wanted. Good instructions and easy to assemble so Five Stars. BUT it is actually WHITE WASHED PINE not natural pine. It is not obvious from the product title (which says 'PINE') nor from the photos on the page that this not natural pine. In fairness it does say in the item description that it is 'washed pine' but at the time I had no idea what washed pine actually was. This is not the natural pine look I was after, and it only really became apparent just how white it was after I had assembled it, at which point I could not return it. I have tried Antique Pine varnish but it is not the same and I will probably bin it. So sorry very disappointed One Star.

Hello there. The Habitat Akio 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe is made by a different supplier to the Habitat Akio Small Double Wooden Platform Bed. However they are designed to be a collection so the finish and colours will be very similar to each other. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Q and A.

"The furniture is made of solid pine wood, with the cabinet and drawer bottoms in MDF. The Walnut version has the same composition but painted in a Walnut tone."
