It is easy to use, although not always as close a shave as I would like. The cover cap does not fit well and comes off regularly.

I bought this for my elderly father. He shakes and has struggled to find an electric razor. He was over the moon with how easy it was to use. The handle was more secure and it gave him the best shave in about 3 years. Nice to see him happy.

This was bought as a gift for an older friend who was having difficulty shaving with a blade shaver as he couldn’t grip the handle. He managed quite well with this electric one hence five stars.

Some compromises evident
Good but not perfect. This USB charging shaver operates at 5V so lacks power compared to the 15V model it replaces. Charge lasts 7-8 days, ie rather less than previous model. However, it is quiet and effective giving a good shave. Cleaning is made easy by the removable head and it's being waterproof. Overall it's a competent shaver with some compromises evident. Good value.

The Philips Series 1000 Wet & Dry Electric Shaver S1141/00 should have a USB A charging cable included. This is the standard USB size, the Apple plug will take USB-C. You will need a standard USB-a plug adapter to enable charging.
