About this product
This heated airer speeds up drying and cuts down on tumble dryer use, giving you 23m of drying space across four tiers without running up big bills. It's got unique angled arms that separate clothes so air flows around them properly, which means things dry faster and more evenly. The cover that comes with it traps warmth to speed things up even more, and it only costs pennies to run - much kinder to your clothes and your energy bill than a tumble dryer.
The four tiers give you plenty of room for a full load, and the angled design means socks, shirts and smaller bits don't just slump together. It heats up to 42C in about 30 minutes, and it's gentle enough for delicate fabrics. The lightweight frame is easy to move around, and when you're done, it folds flat for storage. There's a 1.8m cable so you've got flexibility on where to set it up, and it comes with a one-year guarantee. Simple to assemble and does the job without fuss.

Customers Say
Spacious heated airer with quick drying and energy efficiency praised; cover helps speed drying. Some find it bulky, flimsy parts, no timer, and variable heat performance. Overall, a good alternative to tumble dryers.

Great but has some flaws
Is brilliant at drying fast. With the cover it will dry 2 loads of workwear in about 5 or 6 hrs. I dont like the way the two top racks attach, they fall off way too easily. The cover is a bit of a faff to put on and its awkward to load the airer if you dont take it off. Not great to move it on carpet. you have to lift it, the feet will fold in if you drag it along the ground. It will definitely help with getting everything dry in winter

Great airer
Only used a few times but really impressed and surprised how well the clothes dry. I do put a couple of pegs to keep flap shut on the cover. Have also put some little wheels on the bottom to make moving around on carpet. Best not to overload , it takes about 4hours then remove cover over night and dry by morning.

Good capacity and drying
So glad I’ve purchased this heater clothes airer it’s hard to get everything dry with 5 of us in the house but since purchasing this clothes dry quickly and lots of rails very happy with purchase

Essential product
Fantastic product so glad I purchased - large capacity, quick drying time and no stale damp smell. I find this time of year usually so difficult to get washing dry without tumble drying which is expensive. Also supposed to be cost effective so will wait to see how it effects our bills

A good choice for winter washing
The airer has good capacity and heats well. Folds flat and was easy to assemble. Would be better if it had a timer but is either on or off and the power cable would be better if longer.

Does a great job
Lots of space for hanging and the cover makes things dry that bit quicker. Doesn’t get too hot, so clothes stay soft and don’t crisp up. The rails are quite close together, so I try not to overfill and that helps things to dry quicker. Definitely no timer function, which is a shame but I have attached it to a timer plug which solves the problem. Fold up to stand against a wall, it’s quite high but reasonably narrow so can keep it out of the way. Overall, I would recommend, better than a conventional clothes horse, cheap to run and better than drying the clothes all around the house on radiators

Doesn’t heat enough
Unhappy with item but Argos returned easy enough

The height and width is fabulous
Considering the price of these item I must admit I’m a little disappointed with the drying time. I left it on as suggested for three hours and then it was still wet so I left in 6 hrs and still not dry, eventually dried after a full twelve hours plugged in

Happy with the purchase.
Works well. Isn't too hot. Therefore safe around children and pets. Clothes don't dry in a small time frame. But dries better overall. Great for use indoors when its raining outside. Doesn't take up too much energy cost either.

Hello Jas,
Yes, the Minky Sure Dri 23m 4 Tier Heated Clothes Airer with Cover is suitable for bedding and towels, as long as you stay within the 20kg drying capacity.
For bigger items like duvets and bed sheets:
1. Use the airer for flat drying
2. Spread items out as evenly as possible so air can circulate
3. Don't overload it, especially with thick bedding
4. Use the cover, as it traps warmth and helps drying
The 4th tier isn't heated, but the rising heat still helps items on top dry
