Been using this steamer for a couple of weeks and it's doing its job just fine. It appears to be well made. Appearannce is modern. If you fill it up to the maximum the water reservoir provides steam for around 35 minutes. I'm happy with the purchase.

To use the Cookworks FS1400-GS 2 Tier Steamer - Stainless Steel for cooking rice the water base needs to be at max capacity and 1.5x the weight of rice in the rice bowl also. For example 200g rice and 300ml water in the rice bowl, plus the water base needs to be at max capacity.
