Far too heavy for a young kids bike
This bike is insanely heavy for a 4-6 year old child. My almost 5 year old who is a strong kid struggled to get going on this. Can’t believe no one has mentioned it so far. Is apparently 13kg, didn’t check but feels heeaaavy. Have checked the other bikes on Argos website for same age range and they seem to be in the 8kg - 11kg range. This one is going n the shed until he’s a bit older and has dosed up on his spinach

As it's not an integral part of the frame, it can be built without the plate being fitted if you so wish. The fixings are removable so you could take it off if you did put it on and change your mind.
