About this product
The Jak Floating Shelf gives you a neat spot to display books, plants and collectables without taking up floor space. It's a wall-mounted design that keeps your things visible and accessible while freeing up room below for hoovering or furniture. The light oak effect finish brings a warm, natural tone that works with most living room or bedroom styles. It holds up to 5kg, enough for a few paperbacks, small potted plants, or decorative pieces. The floating design hides brackets and fixings, so the focus stays on what you're displaying.
The wood effect surface wipes clean after dusty spells or minor marks. It's 60cm wide, a practical length for alcoves, above desks, or beside beds where floor-standing units won't fit. Concealed mounting keeps the look streamlined and uncluttered. Straightforward assembly with all fixings included, no specialist fitting required. Part of the Jak collection, so you can add matching pieces as your storage needs grow.

Sound shelving easy to instal
I have a number of these shelves in the utility room and use them for 'overflow' of utensils and food containers. I have never tested them with anything of substantial weight. Stable shelves , easy to put up and not unpleasant to look at. Not sure if I would use them in for instance a living room or lounge.

Satisfied
Looks good, fairly easy to install. The shelf itself is made of light, thin chipboard but the fittings are sturdy. Good for most uses but not for heavy items.

Good looking shelf
I bought the 'floating shelf' last week and installed it immediately. Straightforward to install, and looks very smart. Strength is acceptable for the equipment it is used to support. The finish is excellent, and it is long enough to accept the BT smart hub2.

Great shelves
Excellent shelves. Purchased four of them to display model cars and not dissapointed. Good quality and well packaged to avoid damage. Installation was easy however i only used 5 fixing screws and not the full 10 supplied which was sufficient.
