The LG F4Y513WWLN1 is a 13kg washing machine designed for large loads with intelligent fabric care. This freestanding model uses AI Direct Drive technology with deep learning to detect load size and fabric type, providing 18% more protection for cottons, synthetics, delicates and mixed loads. With a 1400rpm spin speed and energy rating A, this corded appliance delivers efficient cleaning for everyday wear, sportswear and bedding. In the earlier models, the standard temperature of the wash came up on display. Does not happen on this machine, unless I have not set up correctly. You need to press the temp button to show the temp of the wash.

Compared to our previous LG, the plastics and controls look/feel cheaper, but I cannot comment more about what's inside, so far so good, performs as expected. The process to register for a 5-year warranty is not straight forward, and by default you end up with a 2-year warranty and have to follow an additional process to get the extended one (that I got).

Much quieter and economical. Very pleased with this machine. Improved over the past 8 years and hope it copes as efficiently as the old one, which was used at least once a day.

“ If you mean in general, it's an option on the dial so it would be a case of turning the dial and picking that cycle.
If you mean the specifics of the load etc, it's used for cotton, underwear, pillow covers, bed sheets and baby wear. ”

"The mains cables on our machines are 1.5m and extension blocks can be used with them however, caution would of course need to be used such as ensuring the blocks are not below the pipes etc."
